The cherokee nation is one of the largest Native American tribes in the united states. it has a rich and complex history. originally inhabiting parts of the southeastern US. Including present day north carolina, south carolina, georgia and tennessee. The cherokee were known for their sophisticated social structure, advanced agricultural practices and a rich cultural heritage that included a developed written language.
